Three more speakers announced for the Lung Cancer Europe Conference 2026
Three more speakers have been added to the programme for the Lung Cancer Europe Conference 2026, taking place in Vienna from 22 to 24 April.
We are pleased to welcome Nadja Kartschmit, Charlotta Norgaard and Mihai Rotaru to this year’s conference.
Together, they bring experience from research, patient partnership, health data, access and innovation. Their sessions will add to a wider programme focused on the real issues affecting lung cancer across Europe, from how research is designed to how new approaches reach people in practice.
Nadja Kartschmit, Postdoc at the Medical University of Vienna, will bring insight from the IDERHA project, which looks at the organisational, legal and regulatory challenges around access to health data. This work matters because responsible use of health data can support earlier detection and better treatment in lung cancer.
Charlotta Norgaard, Founder and CEO of Patient in Research, will speak about building meaningful patient partnerships in research. Her work focuses on co-creation and making sure lived experience has a practical role in medicines research and development.
Mihai Rotaru, Director Market Access at EFPIA, will join the discussion on the future of lung cancer care, with a focus on access, innovation and the role of the patient perspective.
The Lung Cancer Europe Conference brings together people from across the lung cancer community for discussion, learning and collaboration. These three speakers reflect the mix of expertise needed to improve lung cancer research, policy and care.
