FairLife launches lung cancer TV campaign in Greece
FairLife - Lung Cancer Care, a member organisation of Lung Cancer Europe in Greece, has launched a nationwide television awareness campaign focused on lung cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
The campaign, titled “Lung cancer concerns us all”, will air across major television networks in Greece throughout March 2026. Its central message is clear: lung cancer can affect anyone, and early detection can save lives.
The TV spot highlights the importance of screening and open dialogue, while addressing stigma and fear surrounding the disease. It encourages the public to seek reliable information and to understand that prevention and early diagnosis are critical steps in reducing lung cancer mortality.
The video features FairLife President Korina Pateli Bell, alongside renowned Greek actor and director Giorgos Karamichos. The campaign has also received the support of several national medical societies in Greece, reflecting strong professional backing for awareness and screening initiatives.
As Korina Pateli Bell states:
“Anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. Through our TV spot, we aim to spread the message of prevention to every home, every family, every citizen. Awareness and early diagnosis can save lives.”
This campaign represents a powerful example of patient-led advocacy reaching a national audience and advancing the conversation around lung cancer prevention and screening in Europe.
