Lung Cancer Europe is pleased to welcome RENESANSA from Kosovo as a new member organisation.

Based in Prizren, RENESANSA is a patient-led organisation working to improve cancer awareness, support, advocacy and community health education. Through its lung cancer initiative, Care4Cancer Kosovo, the organisation is helping raise awareness of lung cancer and strengthen support for people affected by lung cancer and their families in Kosovo.

Violeta Pirana, Founder and President of RENESANSA, has led the organisation’s work to strengthen support and advocacy. In its membership letter, the organisation set out its commitment to raising awareness, encouraging earlier diagnosis, supporting families, and strengthening the lung cancer voice in Kosovo.

Lung Cancer Europe brings together member organisations and individuals from across Europe to strengthen collaboration, share knowledge and support advocacy for people affected by lung cancer.

We are very pleased to welcome Violeta Pirana, RENESANSA and Care4Cancer Kosovo to our network, and we look forward to working together.
